For many years Linda, despite being chronically ill and very severely disabled, with incurable illness and untreatable pain,transient paralysis and severe hypersensitivity on every level, has had a proactive prayer ministry, one that reaches some of the most isolated and abandoned. Her insight into suffering and the cross are unique and profound and inform her compassion and her prayer ministry.

Many years ago now, before it became impossible for her to engage with anyone, Linda used to lead a monthly Charismatic Prayer Group in our home.

Unable to attend church or receive communion or receive pastoral visits, we are totally physically isolated from local community and so we have come to totally rely on our relationship with the Mighty Trinity for sustenance and aid.

Together we planned and Greg piloted an adult-learning Holy Way parish course over the course of one year.

Greg, a qualified Trainer, ran his own Training and Development company, nationwide. He also co-founded and then co- ordinated a writer’s group for several years locally.

Between us we have skills and experience in counselling, group work for small and large groups, presentation, creativity, dance and drama, song writing and performance.

Greg, who has a Post - Graduate Diploma in Experiential Learning and an MA in Moral, Personal and Spiritual Development, has extensive experience in Adult Education and Learning. He is a Minister of the Holy Word.

Linda has learned to transform her intense suffering into service through prayer.

Greg has cared for Linda for 20 years of severe and profound unimaginable suffering; this gives him valuable insights and material to share with others.

He has used his knowledge of suffering and caring to not only produce information to help others and to fight for better services especially for people with ME,but also to deepen his own understanding of the meaning of the Cross and what it is to serve God.

Together they share their learning through their website and their spiritual insights, through the Holy Way.

Greg's writing back ground comes both from editing and publishing.

He has published a wide range of articles, which have appeared in the Nursing Times, Nursing Standard, British Journal of Nursing, Priests & People,Good News Magazine, The Universe and Catholic Life.

He has published four books , with a children's book and a new book on the meaning of suffering embracing the teaching of the newly sanctified St John Paul 11, on its way.

He is a singer songwriter and has written many songs. Linda is a published poet and was a song writer before illness severely disabled her.
